Established in 2016 and headquartered in Takoradi, in the Western Region of Ghana, Forsteve Poultry Complex Limited has evolved into a vertically integrated agribusiness with a strong operational footprint in poultry and livestock production. The company’s asset base is strategically structured to support scale, efficiency, and long-term sustainability within Ghana’s growing food production sector.

Forsteve operates across four primary production lines—layers, broilers, turkeys, and piggery—positioning the business to diversify revenue streams and mitigate market volatility. The poultry division alone spans approximately nine (9) acres, providing sufficient capacity for expansion, biosecurity zoning, and optimized housing systems. Complementing this is a three (3) acre piggery unit, designed to support controlled breeding and commercial pork production.

A critical competitive advantage lies in Forsteve’s in our feed processing capability, which sits on a dedicated two (2) acre site measuring approximately 30,000 square feet (100 ft × 300 ft). The installed processing line, with a throughput capacity of 6 tons per hour, translates into a theoretical output of:

• 48 tons per 8-hour production day

• 288 tons per standard 6-day production week

• Over 13,000 tons annually (based on 300 operational days)

This level of capacity not only ensures consistent supply for internal consumption across all livestock units but also creates a strong opportunity for commercial feed distribution, enhancing revenue diversification and cost control.
